I graduated from Kingston High School in 1990, then I attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University as an English Education major and Spanish minor. After receiving my Bachelor's degree I came to work for Tushka Public School in 1995 as a Spanish/English teacher and girls softball coach. After serving in that role for 5 years,I spent 2 years working at Caddo High School as an English teacher, Gear-up Coordinator and interm 6-12 grade principal. In 2001, I returned to Tushka as an English teacher.
I received my Master's degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Education Administration and currently I am the Pre-K-8 grade principal for Tushka Elementary.I am truly blessed to work with a fine group of faculty and staff members and enjoy helping our school navigate the many changes in education. We have a very supportive community that wants the best for our students.
When I am not at school or a school fuction I spend my time with my two daughters. They are very active in sports and gymnastics, so between school activities and family life I am busy and on the go almost every evening.
