Thanks for visiting my page!
My name is Courtney Hill Rhudy. I am the Speech-Language Pathologist working with pre-school through high school students at Tushka Public School.
I graduated from Tushka High School in 2003 before completing two years of college at SOSU. I then transferred to Stillwater, OK to attend Oklahoma State University for my bachelor's and master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I have been employed as the full time SLP at Tushka School since August 2009.
My job at the school is to help with any child having a difficult time in the classroom, on the playground, or at home with speaking, listening, following directions, or expressing thoughts, as well as, helping to improve quality of voice, articulation of speech sounds, and fluency.
My classroom is chronically messy. I enjoy working with each of my students, and love each of their unique personalities! It could be the kid inside me, but I love doing fun activities with them! I am continually trying to create new ways to incorporate technology into my lessons.
Apart from school, I often take pleasure in crafting, reading, music, television, and spending time with my family. Furthermore, I love acquiring new information! Fun facts, new research findings, and even useless information keeps me entertained; which is probably why social media is my guilty pleasure.
My husband and I have two children together. I commute to Tushka daily because I LOVE MY JOB here as the SLP!
