My name is Carla Cook and I am a graduate of Atoka High School and Southeastern Oklahoma State University. I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education as well as Early Childhood, and I also have a degree in Intermediate and High School Mathematics. My career began at Farris teaching fourth grade. Then I moved to Harmony to teach second and sixth-eighth grade. In 2007 I began teaching first grade at Tushka.
My husband John and I have two children, Trevor and Katelyn. John is the Modular Plant Foreman for Choctaw Housing in Coalgate. Trevor graduated from Tushka High School in 2008 and received a degree from Oklahoma Wesleyan University in Physical Education K-12. He is currently coaching at Coalgate School and recently married Crystal Rushin. Katelyn is a 2013 graduate from Tushka High School and is a freshman at Oklahoma Wesleyan University. She is studying Nursing and is also playing softball at OKWU.
I love teaching first graders, and I especially like how excited they get when learning new things! John and I love spending time following our children in their sports and cheering for them.
